Lynley is an analyst for Eco-Efficient IT at The 451 Group. Her coverage focuses on the environmental footprint of IT products, the effects of legal compliance, and the financial and accounting implications of environmental policies and technologies. Since 1996, Lynley has followed IT developments and innovations closely for a variety of leading UK publications, including Personal Computer World, Computeractive and What Laptop. Prior to joining The 451 Group, she held the position of Commissioning Editor at Computer Shopper magazine, focusing on new developments in IT technology and the impact of legislation such as the introduction and implementation of the WEEE directive in the UK. 

Lynley has a degree in Psychology and English Literature from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
