Datacentres are the factory floor of todays businesses. Recent growth trends have resulted in lack of space/power/cooling in the datacentre, inhibiting growth and increasing costs in production. The forthcoming EU Code of Conduct for datacentres combined with other initiatives will help to drive the focus on energy efficiency in todays datacentres, but what steps can we take now?
